GREEN LAND CONVENT SCHOOL Affiliated to C.B.S.E, New Delhi New Subhash Nagar, Ludhiana CIRCULAR 3 P.NSY to XII Dear Parents 1. In accordance with the announcement of the honourable Chief Minister of Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Mann the decision for the fee hike for session 2022-23 has been put on hold for the time being by the school authorities. The decision for how much to increase will be taken within few days with the consent of parents and school authorities as per the instructions of the Punjab government. We honour the word of our honourable Chief Minister and support his every move for the betterment of Punjab. Therefore, the final decision, whatever it may be, will be accepted whole heartedly. 2. As the session has already started and the Government decision has come only yesterday, so the fee was hiked as per the decision of the fee committee constituted by the previous Government which is 8%. You are well aware that this fee hike has come after a period of 3 years as during corona period the fee was not increased. This hike was essential to give a raise in salary to the teachers and support staff as during the covid period due to immense losses suffered by school, the salary could not be increased. Now those parents who have deposited the fee according to the new structure, their excess amount will be refunded after the final decision by the Punjab Government.
